Administrative Supplements to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements (Parent Admin Supp)
(PA-12-100)
Purpose: Request supplemental funds to existing research grants to meet increased costs that are within the scope of the approved award, but that were unforeseen when the new or renewal application or grant progress report for noncompeting continuation support was submitted. At NIGMS, funds for administrative supplements have always been and will continue to be limited. If you are thinking about submitting an application for an administrative supplement, contact your program director to discuss whether the application is likely to be competitive for funding.
