Welcome to the NIGMS Feedback Loop! As a current NIGMS trainee, you’re automatically subscribed to our blog so that we can provide you with information about upcoming meetings and events, opportunities to provide your input, program news, and more. You can unsubscribe at any time to opt out of these messages.

As the school year begins, we’d like to start by sharing upcoming NIGMS-supported events you can participate in.

We’re holding our annual Judith H. Greenberg Early Career Investigator Lecture virtually and on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland, on September 27. The speaker is Akhila Rajan, Ph.D., from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and she’ll describe her research using fruit flies to investigate how fat cells control brain function. Following her talk, she’ll answer your questions about her research and career path.

Later this fall, we’re participating in two annual meetings some of you may be attending:

NIGMS staff attend these conferences and will be happy to share with you information about our programs. Be sure to stop by our exhibit booth at both meetings to meet us and learn more about NIGMS resources and programs!

We look forward to seeing you this fall and to keeping you updated via this blog.
