The title of the FOA says (U01 – Clinical Trial Not Allowed), but in the text, a clinical trail is offered as a potential approach. Can you please clarify if a clinical trial design is allowed to be used?

Educational interventions, like the ones anticipated for the U01, are not considered clinical trials, as currently defined by NIH.
