We’re recruiting for an accomplished scientist to manage research grant, fellowship, training, and other types of awards focused on the structure and function of cells and cellular components. The position is in our Division of Genetics and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Job responsibilities involve working collaboratively with other staff to stimulate, plan, advise, direct, and evaluate program activities for a portfolio of research awards.
Applicants should have expertise in cellular and molecular biology and a doctoral degree in one of the sciences underlying this research area. Experience with using research organisms is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with NIH extramural funding as an applicant, reviewer, or NIH scientific administrator is a plus, and outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential.
Continue reading “Wanted: Genetics and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology Program Director”We’re pleased to announce that we’ve published two notices of special interest (NOSI) calling for applications to PAR-19-313, Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) Phase 1 (P20 Clinical Trial Optional), that focus on research on women’s health (NOT-GM-21-056) and data sciences (NOT-GM-21-062).
These NOSIs highlight the Office of Research on Women’s Health’s interest in supporting a meritorious application on women’s health, and the Office of Data Science Strategy’s interest in supporting a meritorious application on data science relevant to biomedical research. Applications for these NOSIs must be submitted in response to and meet all eligibility criteria of PAR-19-313.
