TWD Webinar on Program Assessment and Evaluation

UPDATE: The webinars are now published and available to view.

We’re pleased to announce the first in a webinar series for the broader community on issues in biomedical research training, workforce development, and diversity. Its combination of lectures, panel discussions, and workshop activities will focus on a variety of important topics for the training community, such as program evaluation, mentoring, promotion of safe and inclusive environments, and curricular development. Our hope is that these webinars will enhance program directors’ and administrators’ ongoing management of training, career, or workforce development programs.

The series kicks off on Tuesday, June 21, 1:00-4:00 p.m. ET. Our first webinar, presented in partnership with the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Coordination Center, focuses on program assessment and evaluation effective practices. In addition to the presentations by NRMN, NIGMS grantees will share the results from their evaluation capacity-building supplements. More information and the agenda are available on the webinar registration page.

Once registered for the event, you’ll receive a link to join the webinar. We strongly encourage our sponsored program directors, other interested faculty, and institutional staff to participate in this series, and we ask that you share this information with anyone who may be interested in attending.

Participants requiring sign language interpretation and/or other reasonable accommodations should use our contact form to request assistance at least 5 days prior to the webinar.

The webinar will be recorded and posted on the NIGMS website following the event. Please contact Edgardo Falcón-Morales, Laurie Stepanek, or Alison Gammie if you have any questions.
